Blog Action Day - MoneyGram quenches Asuboi's thirst

Today is Blog Action Day

A few days ago Joyfm reported the invasion of black flies in Asuboi a farming community in the Ashanti Region. It was reported this outbreak had infected seventy percent of the population.

This morning, I was pleased to hear MoneyGram is sponsoring the drilling of two bore-hole in the affected community. The project is in partnership with H20 Solutions to help the situation before it gets out of hand.

Clean and potable water is a very important utility in the lives of humans. I therefore hail MoneyGram's act of philanthropy in this regard. I implore many other organisations to follow suit and help Ghana in any way they can as part of their corporate social responsibilities.
